Doors representing decisions have been in my art ideas from way back when I was a teenager. This is a door of different choices and decisions. The different colours represent the different decisions. For example, yellow = decisions of closeness to God and right living. Black and dark colours = decisions that cause misery. Other colours can be decisions of the heart and soul. If God is Lord of your life, these decisions can be guided by the Holy Spirit ie: career choices, relationship choices.
There are other decisions we make on a daily basis, ie: to hold our tongue when we want to say something, or to speak up when we would rather not, decisions to have integrity and honesty despite the consequences, or decisions that are dishonest.
The start of a verse in the bottom of the picture is from the book of Revelation about a church in Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22). I have the handle looking like a face with a shocked open mouth like it is not knowing what to do.
