Scully is the white one of our two alpacas, Mulder is the other and is brown.  We added them both to our family near the end of 2018.  Alpacas need company so these came as a pair as Mulder was quite attached to Scully and it would have been cruel to part them from each other.  Actually, I think Scully wouldn’t have really cared who was with her, but for Mulder it was only Scully she wanted to be with, and she continues to be quite devoted to her.

They both had different names from their previous owners when we first got them, but the names Mulder and Scully became their new ones.  My daughter and husband had been watching some old episodes of ‘The X-Files’ around the same time we got Mulder and Scully.  When they get clipped, there is a bit of ‘alien’ look to them, so seems to fit them quite well.

Scully does make us laugh as per personality has a bit of attitude.  She seems to get in a huff when the goats are too close (she doesn’t like the peasants in her space), and if cows come to the boundary fence she stands next to it with her ears up and looks like she is posing, like they are her fans.  She really is a bit of a diva, and I think she knows she is so pretty with her big eyes.
