I was given a challenge to create an artwork no bigger than 20cm x 20cm.  I decided to do a painting of Bonnie (I had used the same image for a pastel drawing of him which is also in my portfolio).

Bonnie is my daughters favourite goat, though all of the goats are much loved (5 in total), but Bonnie is her ‘beautiful baby Bonnie’.

When we have mentioned to some people that we have goats, one common response has been ‘goats make a great curry’.  That was not the reason we got them.  We hope they all live long and happy goat lives and die of old age.  All the animals have become part of our family – they just happen to live outside.
